What are Joint Venture Giveaway Events?

As you may know I am really into joint venturing. I believe that this is the way forward in today's economy. One of the most exciting new internet trends to emerge recently are Giveaway events, and they are gaining popularity really fast.

Mostly they are free, but you can pay a little to get more exposure. They are designed to help you grow your list. If you are interested at all in expanding your list, I would really recommend joining one. This is one that is starting in a couple of days and runs for the next two weeks. It's the right time of year and getting into all of these joint venture giveaway events and getting your products in could build you an email list much larger than you might think right now.

What is a giveaway? In the Native American culture, a giveaway is about giving the most valuable posession away and ’storing or hording things’ is not understood. There is a high value placed on giving away and sharing what is ours. Once something is given away, all strings to that gift are broken. The gift is given with no expectations. Native people believe that what is given always comes back to the giver in one way or another in another form of good. This is also the basis of attraction marketing.

Many internet marketers give something away in order to encourage you to sign up to their mailing lists and these giveaway events are all about that. You sign up to the giveaway, list the thing or things you are offering for free and then have an opportunity to pick up other people's gifts too.

I've compiled a few important tips to help you get involved in Free Joint Venture Giveaway Events so that you can start growing your list too.

Before you join make sure to check each Free Joint Venture Giveaway Events rules, restrictions and requirements. Some require that you have a list of at least 1,000 subscribers or more before you can become a contributor. There may also be other requirements as well.

But if you have a small list and would like to start building it, find a free joint venture giveaway event that doesn't have a list requirement. Once you join a couple of these, you can build your list bigger and then qualify for the other giveaways with those big list requirements.

It will really pay off if you can sign up as a gift contributor, or JV (Joint Venture) Partner. If you don't have your own product, then you can choose an affiliate product as long as you have the master resell rights or Private Label Rights. If you can do this, you can build a huge list of prospects FAST! It is not always worth the time and effort to create a product in order to take advantage the freejoint venture giveaway events. There is no need to re-invent the wheel.

Also remember that you will have to advertise the free joint venture giveaway event as a whole to ensure the success of the program.

Tips to assure Your Free Joint Venture Giveaway Event Become A Success

Get your copywriting right! You have only a short time to attract the customer and then they are off if you haven't captured their attention. Create desire and trust.

A lucrative add-on to Free Joint Venture Giveaway Events is to attach an OTO (one-time-offer) when they are signing up for your giveaway. This is where you can place a valuable product or service for a special, lower price if they act instantly. You already have their attention, so make the most of it! Also, to improve your sales, try to connect this product or service to the freegiveaway item, as your prospect is obviously already interested in this area.

Offer a newsletter or an e-book and a bonus thank you for joining. Try not to bombard your new customers, but build a relationship with them. Nobody likes to be hard sold to. Remember you are dealing with people and treat them as you would want to be treated. You want to keep them for a long time.

I have given you one link to an up and coming Free Joint Venture Giveaway but do Google it and you will find more.

To Your Success! See you at the Top, Kay

Hi Kay,

Interesting article. I have always shied away from these things, but you seem to put up a robust argument that they work well.

Could you possibly (maybe via direct contact thru Hubpages or publicly here if you are happy to do so) let me know some of your results as to how you have got on with using this tool?

I would be really interested to know if you don't mind.

Many thanks

Derek

Hi Derek,

thank you for your comments.

I really like jvp work, it is what I am most passionate about in business on and offline. I like the idea of an event as opposed to an ongoing thing.

Offline, I run swishing parties in the town with local shop keepers to help them get rid of unsold stock etc, it is the same idea. Or Jacob's Join meals, same idea.

I have had mixed results online, there is an art to it! Some of the contacts I have made have been quite spammy (instant unsubscribe!) and I just click off them, but there are growing numbers of genuine people who are happy to talk via email or skype and come to some arrangements. I notice this is changing as more and more honest people are looking to work from home. So it is good for meeting new potential partners. It is also good for picking up new products (again you have to sift through and be discerning) and lastly it does generate traffic. I have found that the quality of the traffic is mixed too. I have been experimenting with the way that I choose my products and how I promote them. This helps to attract the kind of traffic that I want. Sometimes it is better to get less traffic that is qualified.

The one I mentioned above Free Gifts For You has excellent marketing and promotional tools, email suggestions and a tweeting facility.

I will let you know how I get on after the two weeks, I am looking forward to it!

If you decide to try one, I would love to hear how you get on with it, it is all a learning curve isn't it. And as Waynet (one of my favourite hubbers) says, those pesky viagra boys always find a way of getting through the spam filters!

I hope this helps! Kay

Kay, thank you so much for a comprehensive response. I would be really interested to know how you get on and to learn more.

I am currently trying to build a list of people who are genuinely interested in what I have to say and the products I market, but I do get a high percentage of "tyre kickers", but I guess we all do to some extent. The fact remains I would like to seriously increase the responsiveness of my list (as well as the numbers :>) )...so I would definitely like to know your outcomes if you don't mind.

You can contact me through Hubpages or my own site at apd-marketing.co.uk or put my first name in front of that and email me! I would be interested to share stories anyway.

Thanks again

Derek

Yes I like Joint venture deals, especially if the other site has a larger subscribership then you may win more, but generally speaking it's a good two way deal.

I've started testing out a thing called media ad buying, where you purchase a few ads on high traffic sites which lead back to your own website offer and I had one really great result from just one ad before Christmas.

Great hubpage and interesting too!

I'm a Business Administration undergraduate and i am surfing around the web for information about mergers or joint ventures. I'm hoping I can find sample conditions and other valuable facts through the internet. Will it be okay if I apply some of the information written here for my study?

Kay Hebbourn 17 months ago

Yes of course Lisa, please be my guest! Best wishes with your studies.
